Fruits
Fruits complete the gastronomical pattern: peaches, apples, apricots, oranges, grapes. In particular, since the middle of May it's possible to taste cherries “marracoccu” and “cordofali”, that are eaten fresh, in syrup or in alcohol. Besides, excellent liqueurs are made, such as mirto (from myrtle), amarena (almond based) and maraschino, which is only homemade.
